I stay at home with my babies and for me that is my dream come true! I've wanted to be a mama since as young as I can remember and it's such a gift to get to be living out those dreams now.

We love Jesus in our home and my hope is that I can show His immense love and kindness towards us, to everyone I meet. I owe it all to Him. <3

The Story of a Photographer....

Now that you know a little about me, I want to share more about who I am behind the lens and my philosophy on my photography.

I remember my dad buying his first dslr. I was probably 9 or 10, and I was so impressed. After that day I used it when I could, and as I grew up I and got a smart phone I would photograph everything. I have always loved capturing candids and seeing life through the eye of a lens....using creativity to keep a moment and memory forever.

My love for photography only grew as I became a mom. Once I had children I just started capturing all the moments I could. My parents always said time goes fast, but I don't think I could quite understand it fully until being a mama. Every minute goes by so quickly and you wish there was just a way to bottle up each milestone, each everyday moment, and honestly, even the long nights, and relive them over and over again. Sadly we can't bottle them up to relive, but we can keep them in a picture, and that's incredible to me. It has become a precious thing to me to freeze these memories with my children and husband, and now I want to share that with other people.

I want to be the person to freeze time for you. I want to help capture moments that you'll look back on and remember how you felt in that season, that moment. How your children sounded when they laughed. How your husband looked at you in awe after you just had a baby or how it felt to be in his arms on your anniversary. Whatever the occasion, whether it be a new baby, yearly family photos, or celebrating your love as a couple, I'll be so honored to be there with you in that moment.

My Philosophy....

I love sunlight and real, raw moments. I don't believe in trying to pretend life is perfect; it's so much more beautiful with all the uneven cracks in the picture that Jesus fills in with His grace and love. I want to capture all of that for you. We all want the posed picture where everyone is dressed up and smiling at the camera, so I'll be sure to capture that for you, haha! But I also want to capture the moments when life is just happening as it always does; real, imperfect, unposed, and completely beautiful.

So if you book a session with me, please don't stress. Don't stress about the babies being on their best behavior or standing perfectly still. I have a 2 and 1 year old, I totally understand the crazy and I want to be your cheerleader and bestie through all of that. I got you! Just relax and be yourselves, the rest will all work out.

“Photography has been my way of bearing witness to the joy I find in seeing the extraordinary in ordinary.”

What is lifestyle photography?

Lifestyle photography simply means that I prefer more candid moments over posed. My goal during sessions is to make you feel comfortable and to capture the authentic way you are. That doesn't mean I'll leave you hanging though! I will absolutely guide you the whole way through our session and help create awesome memories for you!

Do you give out raw files?

No. When you hire me, I consider that to be for my full scope of work, creativity, and art, which includes fully edited images only.

What time of day will we shoot?

99 percent of the time we will be shooting right before sunset, when the light is beautiful and golden. Occasionally I will do a sunrise session, and that would be right after sunrise.
In home newborn sessions are best done in the early afternoon to be able to get the most natural light in your home.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with a Canon R6 and a Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens the majority of the time, and occasionally I will also use a Canon 50mm lens (especially for those newborn details!)
